Bodyrockerz pupils had an amazing day at the IDTA North East Area Nationwide Qualifiers on Sunday 19th March at Durham. Pupils from age 3 to 12 years competed against schools from all over the North East in events Freestyle Solo, Freestyle Pairs, Rock n Roll Pairs, Rock n Roll Syllabus and Freestyle Teams for ages 9 and under and 10-13 Years in the hope of qualifying for a chance to represent the NE Area at the Nationwide Finals in Blackpool in November.

Pupils ages 13 and over competed in Slow Dance Solo in the hope of qualifying for the Nationwide Finals. In some sections pupils danced as many as 8 times, with 7 recalls to achieve a place in the final 6 due to the high number of competitors all dancing their hearts out in the hope of qualifying. Bodyrockerz pupils shone on the dance floor over 30 trophy winners and over 40 qualifying places including Bodyrockerz 10-13 Years Freestyle Team Delicious who won 1st place and have been working on their new routine for the past 12 months. Bodyrockerz age 9 years and under Freestyle Team Baby Dolls also performed amazingly and were awarded respectable 2nd Place.
